My life began in New York and from the first grade through High School progressed to Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Oregon and California. After High School graduation we moved back to Houston,Texas where I met my first husband George. We began our family in Houston then moved to Bellville, Texas where our two boys grew up, and we settled into many years in the same town a first for me.
In 2006 my husband of 38 years passed away renewing my urge to wander. However I remained in Bellville only moving to a smaller house in town. I met my present husband Paris in Galveston, and we both decided to travel by moving.
After a four year odyssey to Sitka, Alaska and the panhandle of Idaho, we returned home to Bellville. The mountains still called us though so now South Fork, Colorado is our home.
A self taught artist I combine realism and impressionism in my work to create a feeling with the many facets of nature providing inspiration. Needless to say the many places I have lived contribute further to my work.
Accomplishments include awards in the Brenham Fine Arts League Annual Juried Art Show, 1994/1999 and the Juror's Award in the Brazos Valley Art League 1998 Spring Juried Art Show. My works are in private homes and collections including my own.
